How Minxa works

Minxa is a fashion discovery site. We show you clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, accessories and beauty products from retailers we partner with, and we let you save the things you like so other people can see them.

We are not a shop

Minxa does not sell anything. There is no cart and no checkout for merchandise. Every product on Minxa belongs to the retailer that sells it, and every product links out to that retailer's own website, where the sale takes place on their terms. Prices and availability come from the retailer and can change at any time. If you buy something after clicking through, Minxa may earn a commission from the retailer. That commission never changes the price you pay.

Favorites

When you find something you like, you can save it to your favorites. Your favorites are how other members see your taste, and they are the starting point for gifting.

Gifting

Members can send a gift to another member. This is the part of Minxa that involves payment, so it is worth being precise about what happens:

• A gift is a gift payment to a member, processed by Stripe. Minxa never holds members' funds.
• Minxa does not buy, stock, ship, or deliver any product.
• The recipient decides for themselves what to do with a gift they receive.
• A favorited item is the occasion for a gift — it is not an order.
• Gifts are unconditional: nothing is owed in return.

Who can send a gift to whom

Gifting is deliberately narrow. To send someone a gift, all of the following must be true:

• You are signed in to a Minxa account, and you are 18 or older.
• You follow the person you want to send to, and that follow has been accepted.
• They have turned gifting on for their account.
• They have favorited the item the gift is based on.
• The amount falls inside the limits they set for themselves.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Minxa never sees or stores your full card number. Members who receive gifts are paid out through a Stripe account they set up themselves.

Search Minxa from an AI assistant

AI assistants that accept MCP connectors can search Minxa for you. The connector address is https://minxa.com/mcp. It does one thing: it searches the products live on Minxa for what you describe and returns a few of them, each with a photo, the price, the shop that sells it and a link to its page on Minxa.

• No account or sign-in. It cannot see or change anything in a Minxa account, and it sets no cookies.
• Results are ordered only by how well they match the search; no shop pays for placement. If you buy after clicking through from Minxa, Minxa may earn a commission (see the Affiliate disclosure).
• It only reads the catalogue. Nothing is bought or saved through it.
• Minxa keeps the words of each search and when it ran, as it does for searches typed on this site, to count use and keep search working. See the Privacy policy.
