Minxa is a discovery platform. Minxa does not sell, stock, ship, or deliver any retail product, and is not a party to any transaction between a member and a retailer. Products shown on Minxa are offered by third-party retailers on their own websites and under their own terms. Prices, availability, and descriptions come from those retailers and may be inaccurate or out of date.
A gift sent through Minxa is a voluntary gift payment to another member, processed by Stripe. Minxa never holds members' funds. A gift is not a purchase of goods, not an order, and not a promise that any product will be supplied. A favorited item determines the amount of the gift and provides its occasion; it does not create any entitlement to that item. Members receiving gifts are paid through their own Stripe account.
A member who receives a gift is not required to purchase the item the gift was based on, or any other item. They are not required to send a thank-you note, a message, a photograph, or any other response. A gift creates no obligation, debt, or entitlement between the sender and the recipient, and senders should not send a gift in expectation of anything in return.
Before a gift is claimed, nothing has been charged: the gift exists only as an authorization on the sender's card. If it is not claimed within 7 days, that authorization is released automatically and the sender pays nothing. A sender who has made a mistake should contact [email protected] before the gift is claimed, and we will cancel it.
Once a gift has been claimed it cannot be recalled, and it is not refundable, because it is a voluntary gift paid to another member. The claim window and the platform fee are described in the Gift policy, which forms part of these terms.
Minxa charges a platform fee on gifts, paid by the recipient out of the gift. The current fee is stated in the Gift policy and is shown to both parties before any payment is confirmed.
You must be 18 or older to send or receive a gift. Gifting requires a Minxa account and is available only between members who follow one another, on items the recipient has favorited, where the recipient has enabled gifting. Minxa may suspend an account, suspend gifting, decline or reverse a gift, and withhold or reverse a payout, where it suspects fraud, payment abuse, or any use of gifting other than as described in these terms.
Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Minxa does not store full card numbers. If a payment is reversed or disputed by a card issuer after a gift has been settled, Minxa may reverse the corresponding payout from the recipient's account, which may leave that account with a negative balance until it is resolved. Minxa is a fashion discovery site. There is no cart and no checkout for merchandise. Product listings link out to third-party retailers. Minxa does not guarantee that a listing is accurate, in stock, or still for sale. Some outbound links are affiliate links; see the Affiliate disclosure.
You are responsible for your account and for what you post as favorites, profile text, and messages. Do not impersonate others, scrape the catalog in a way that harms the service, or use Minxa to harass anyone. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.
Minxa's name, site design, and original copy are ours. Product images, titles, and prices come from retailers and remain theirs. You may not copy the catalog for a competing service.
Minxa is provided as-is. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that every product link will work. Retail purchases are solely between you and the retailer.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Minxa is not liable for retailer transactions, third-party sites, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. For gift payments, Stripe's terms also apply.
